The Summer Intensive provides three days of learning together about educational coaching. Topics include: models, formats, and outcomes of coaching; the Student Success Cycle, effective coaching conversation; working with challenging people; engaging with professional learning teams; managing time; collaborating with principals; helping teachers who are stressed out, and more. This lively workshop is suitable for coaches at all grade levels and all levels of experience as well as those who support coaches in leadership roles (e.g. principals, curriculum directors, Title I leaders).
Whether your title is instructional coach, math coach, literacy coach, or any other coach-related term, this is the event for your professional growth!

THE STUDENT SUCCESS CYCLE FOR EFFECTIVE COACHING
The Student Success cycle is a “road map” for coaches’ work with teachers. It enables coaches and teachers to collaborate in identifying obstacles to students’ success, seeing patterns within challenging situations, and making shifts for greater effectiveness. This one-day workshop provides practical tools along with opportunities to practice and to problem-solve particular situations.
