Toll and Associates/Partnering to Learn provides consulting, workshops, and resources for school administrators, educational coaches, and other teacher leaders. Our work is rooted in decades of experience and solid knowledge of related research. We have helped educators worldwide to enhance teaching and learning in schools.
Toll and Associates/Partnering to Learn was founded by Dr. Cathy Toll in 2004. Cathy recognized the need to provide practical guidance to schools that will strengthen teacher effectiveness and increase student success.
Cathy has been a teacher at elementary, middle, and secondary levels, a school principal, a curriculum coordinator, writing project leader, federal project director, university professor, and, of course, coach. Additionally, she has over 30 years of experience as a consultant and workshop leader. Her publications for coaches, school administrators, and teacher leaders include seven books and numerous articles. Her eighth book, on facilitating groups such as teams, study groups, committees, and workshops, will be published by ASCD in 2022.
A Personal Message
In my many years’ experience as an educator, I have learned that collaboration is the key to learning – learning by students, teachers, or others in the school. When everyone’s voice matters, when agency is honored, and when we listen and learn with one another, success is increased. I also know that collaboration is challenging and requires specific skills.
I am delighted to help educators enhance their collaboration. We do this by understanding models of professional learning, growing communication skills, developing productive and sustainable practices, and using tools to make everything go smoothly. And I would be delighted to work with your school, school district, or professional organization to do the same. Please stay in touch!
